Exactly.
But there is a very small minority of people who just get irrational and hostile to anything done wrong on linux, especially if its not the end users fault.

precious little done under the cry of “but wont someone think of the children?!” has ever, actually, been done with the children in mind.
Politicians decades ago just found out its easy to demonize opposition, if you masquerade your bullshit power seizing in some child protection lie.

Wow, the administration run by child sex offenders, is cutting funding for fighting, finding, and arresting child sex offenders?
Who could have guessed?! /s

LEDs are not hot
Someones never accidentally touched an LED array.
I can guarantee you an LED array as big as the sun would generate enormous amounts of heat.and would need massive amounts of cooling.

I would love a return of the FCC equal time rule.
I’m tired of republican propaganda and bullshit dominating the news every goddamn day.

Amazing how every time you think they’ve finally stopped digging… they whip out the steam shovel and go “Hey y’all, watch this!”

Nope, Not exaggerating. I watched the last episode of Grand Tour at 320p when it released.
maybe they’ve changed something since then if you’re having a better experience now.
edit
Holy shit, the return to zimbabwe was sept 2024. where has the time gone…

Not how any of this is supposed to work.

Theres only 2 times I have headaches due to being on linux.
When I’m streaming, the streaming service I use (typically Amazon) refuses to stream at anything higher than like 320p, despite me enabling the DRM and all that stuff, cause they think if you’re on linux you’re the l33t h4x0rz out to steal their garbage files… Which isnt linuxes fault in the least.
When I’m playin a game thats not easily moddable (like Cyberpunk) (Compared to easily moddable games, like Bethesda titles, or Stardew, Or Minecraft)that requires running tons of extra executables and stuff. its just a pain in the ass to get shit working, to the point I often give up half way through.
other than that, Linux really hasnt been a barrier to my daily life in any way. Granted, I kind of cultivated myself a proper linux enviroment before I even made the switch, by using AMD gear, and buying linux friendly web cams/printers/blue tooth dongles/etc etc.

it doesnt help that the game was an absolute buggy unplayable mess until their first “Dlc” drop, either.
They should have spent a fuckton more time focusing on the game breaking bugs rather than working on new content.
Stability for a new release is far more important than content. People will come back to a game for more content drops, People arent gonna give a shit of a games buggy as fuck for over a year cause you are too focused on content, and want to bundle the bugfixes INTO the new content drop.
Also sebastian is a miserable, hateful character, that I desperately want to fucking kill, but cant, cause hes essential which is one of the cruelest game design decisions i’ve ever seen, making insufferable characters immortal

i got pissed off with mod organizer when I lost an entire fallout 4 run because it just suddenly decided my mods didnt exist anymore. Just poofed, into the ether. and no, it wasnt cause a fallout update, this was before the latest update debacle.

Zyklon-B, the pesticide used in the gas chambers, was still being manufactured, sold and used (for its intended pesticide usage) all the way up until the 2010s iirc.
and this was still under the Zyklon name.
I would never sell my games, ever.
I made that mistake once, and it was a decision I’ve regretted for decades.
Evercarts and emulation are convenient, but is nothing compared to having that original box, with the original cart, and original book, and any other stuff, in it, for when you want to ride the nostalgia train.

My grandfather was a Ham guy, amongst a great many other brilliant things.
One of many things I wish he’d have lived long enough for me to experience with him.

The Nobara updater is fairly unreliable
Yeah, Its the only weak part of the entire distro, imho.
but you can run the proper updates via commandline with
sudo nobara-sync cli
its not ideal, but at least its pain free updating until they get rid of the Nobara Updater.

No one says you gotta play games coming out today.
If you only want to play single player, want it to be cheap, and have a great library of games to play… .Pick up a used PS2 or Gamecube. PS2 lets you play both PS2 and PS1 games, gamecube…if you can find a gameboy adapter for it for cheap, also opens up gameboy/gameboycolor/gameboy advance games. real versatile.
Should be able to find one used online/garage sale/classified for cheap. games are abundant, cheap, and amazing.
anything older is starting to get expensive, and anything newer will typically be always online/online drm checks/etc.
Especially true with how AI is absolutely ruining hardware prices atm, with ram costing as much as goddamn video cards.
Course, thats assuming you want to play on the actual hardware, setting up a retropi for SNES/NES/Genesis/ETC is also viable, bit more fraut trying to find the roms nowadays, though. is the best, most affordable option if you want to play PS1 or older, though.

Hes not totally ignoring the red states.
Every red state has a few blue spots in them, and trust me, hes doing to those blue spots what hes doing to minnesota.

“Wnat to make a billion dollar company cry? use an even worse billion dollar companies attempt to stranglehold control of the internet!”

I wouldnt call Fallout 4 an RPG.
I’d say its more of a looter shooter with quests and stats.
So yes, LEDs are hot.
