WTF, I hate democracy now!
Maga is a minority of US citizens. Just remeber Trump barely won half of the half of eligble voters that actually voted.
That said. Standing on priciples sometimes means fully opposing what the majority of people sometimes. Chattel slavery to child brides to the trail of tears were all at different points the “popular” (dominate and effectivly unopposed) positions at different times. They were also sick and twisted autrasties that stain the nations history with blood and traumas of innocents.
Using democracy to gain power and then eliminating dissent and democracy itself was already used in the last century by German politicians. ;)
