NKNews is a website that mostly rehosts articles published by KCNA, DPRK’s own news agency, except NKNews is anti-DPRK. I’ve seen DPRK issue press statements accusing NKNews of violating international copyright law by rehosting DPRK’s articles.

I think the HTTPS certificate has to be issued by a Certificate Authority company. Maybe DPRK is prevented from doing that. They do own the .kp TLD, so every website which ends with .kp is a DPRK website.

Why are China and the DPRK so against using https?
