Fmr. Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett just gave a talk at Princeton, during which: 1) someone, likely a protestor, pulled the fire alarm; 2) Pro-Palestinian activists loudly disrupted the speech in violation of university policy

A university (read: asset management fund that incidental to its operations, each year gives a few 20somethings diplomas) - a university policy has been ‘violated’ - who cares? They breach their own policies against their students and employees all the time. Policy isn’t law it’s a guideline an organism sets itself. A policy isn’t worth jack shit. A policy is nothing more than an advert to others that is exemp from advertising standards.

wojak-nooo Noooo you can’t protest like that, you’re only allowed to protest in ways we can easily ignore and don’t inconvenience us in the slightest

  • Listen, I can handle a little quiet disruption every now and again. But you get “loudly” at your disruption, and shits about to go down. We don’t tolerate that in this town.
