Yep, as the director of a small observatory, I’m adding an antenna and a display of sdrsharp to hopefully show off radio emissions from our popular targets for public outreach. I’m sure most visitors won’t care, but I hope to snag that 1 kid and feed his/her curiosity.

I would care! I find non-terrestrial radio emissions interesting and would instantly recognize a waterfall display and be eager to explain to my companions.
That’s great. There’s definitely an overlap of astronomy and amateur radio interests, and anything you can do to generate and feed the interest of young people is time and effort well spent!
