Dude just said he knows people who have been injured by UAPs?

Editing my comments cuz I don’t want to spam: Think Grusch said they recovered non human “biologics” from a UAP crash? I’m finding it hard to understand what they’re talking about. Does that mean a non-human body was found?

Interestingly he did not want to disclose the question about alien bodies in public but he did say yes to non human biologics.

Sounds like that last one is vague enough to not be classified.

Thank you! I’ll check it out after the hearings. And that makes sense, I suppose there has been a lot of negative associations with using those other terms.

Oh for sure, and not to spoil the video/article I posted and the session on now: Grusch is almost trying to push that they aren’t from outerspace, but that he uses a ‘dimensional framework’ when thinking about where they come from.

It’s possible, as suggested by the committee member, that it could be an indirect or passive harm cause such as radiation.

As for the “biologics” it’s been implied to be bodies, but that info has been second hand to Grusch. Though, he’s been confident enough in his sources to bring that info forward. Whatever has been recovered was clearly enough biological matter to say it’s not human or anything familiar.

This whole hearing has been a solid baseline for discussions/hearings moving forward, in my opinion.

Agreed. I feel a lot of people were getting their hopes up that this would be the day of disclosure. But, there is too much to put out in the open in one sitting. Storming out with bombshells is an easy way for the public and media dismiss facts. I’m looking forward to discussions building off of today’s statements. I just hope that there is little lull between hearings and public statements. Keeping this in the spotlight will help build public demand for the truth.

It definitely seems like today was setting the stage and precedent for further investigation and statements.

Yeah, excited to see next steps and hopefully get more from the next session.

Some surprising discussions in this hearing: Gaetz talking about the orb photo from Eglin, Biggs bringing up the Phoenix Lights, and I loved how every time Grusch said he couldn’t discuss things in this setting, everyone was like “ok, let’s talk after this then in a SKIF”

edit: oh and Fravor brought up a history of the US government covering up things and brought up Project Bluebook

I’m hoping it will legitimize the subject for more people. My large family group text blew up over the hearing. To see such unanimous bipartisan concern should be pretty eye-opening to people on both sides of the aisle. Especially in this hypertoxic political stage.

David Grusch and Jeremy Corbell exchanged nods of approval after an answer he provided.

Edit: And many nods listening to his answers. Seems to me like he’s happy this is being put on record. Maybe he knows the veracity of Grusch’s statements from his own contacts within those programs.

I suspect that very soon, perhaps within a year, we will hear from other whistleblowers, possibly even some with direct, hands-on experience, who will come forward to corroborate what David Grusch is saying. Again, this is just a prediction, but things seem to be moving much faster than in previous years, and I believe this hearing has only put more weight on the accelerator.

I’m a bit frustrated that none of my country’s television news channels mentioned this. All the American ones were going on about something to do with Biden and the Canadian ones were going on about the new Cabinet shuffle in Parliament. The only reason why I was aware this was going on was from an article Brave showed me in my feed, and then searching on Lemmy gave me this post providing the livestream feed.

It’s definitely been low-covered in the media here in the states. It sort of got big a few weeks ago when a very small, almost unknown newstation called “News Nation” picked up the Grusch interview. It was covered heavily there, but… no one watches that channel.

Afterwards, some of the big stations picked it up and some newspapers too, but it was forgotten pretty quickly. Unless you were already in this “circle of information”, you probably wouldn’t have heard about it. Maybe it’ll get picked up after today (but probably forgotten about by Friday)

NewsNation is the only news station I’ve seen seriously cover the matter. The Hill Rising is a total train wreck and just dumb conjecture from the hosts imo. I cringe when I watch their coverage…
