Maybe stop warning and shouting at us poor people who can’t do shit about it and go after billionaires. Every bit of conservation I’ve done in my entire life is undone in a day by a billionaire who wants to take a day trip. All these scientists and articles just yell into the void. I refuse to take equal blame for this mess and frankly I’m sick of it being directed at me. Environmental protesters should be camped out at Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos lawns by the thousands, trashing the place

Yeah, it’s exactly this. It felt reductive to me as if she wasn’t a notable individual just a generic job title, when she’s contributed more to conservation and zoology than most living individuals.

Oh so it’s weird because they’re using a descriptor instead of her name?

Well, looking at the world in general I don’t blame them for assuming ignorance from people. I

“If you really lived during the Cretaceous Period, you’d be fortunate. The period we live in now is far more frightening. Right now, species on Earth are going extinct far faster than during the late Cretaceous. Now is truly the age of mass extinctions! So, my child, what you’re seeing is nothing. This is only an insignificant episode in a much vaster process.” - The Three Body Problem
