So How About Helldivers 2’s Community Manager?
So I just heard about the community manager for Helldivers 2 doing something incredibly stupid. Now, you’re probably wondering what that could be, so let me tell you.
Katherine Baskin, the Community Manager, said that Helldivers 2…is woke. I think Baskin’s also pretty delusional in another comment that it amuses them that they (us the players of Helldivers 2), do not know that Super Earth is bad. We’re not idiots, we’re well aware of this. Heck this is the game that, like the film Starship Troopers, is a satire in regards to the Super Earth Patriotism and similar things. We’ve all known that for awhile, again, we’re not idiots. Makes you wonder though about Arrowhead if they have an individual like this being their Community Manager and saying things like this.it’s not woke, it’s not woke he continues to insist as he shrinks and transforms into a corncob 🌽
First it started with banning toxic people in their discord over anti LGBTQ posts. The company said it didn’t have plans for them and were banning people being toxic because they didn’t want the predicable hate mongering to follow .
Once they didn’t get their fix via discord to bash the queers extremely disingenous spam posts on Steam Forums around rainbow capes (which the company supposedly said they had no plans for). Between “Geee I hope this company doesn’t go woke” to “I’m queer and I demand pronouns and rainbow capes and such” devolving into a
anti woke feeding frenzy. They did this to farm 
jester points for one and to harass queer people playing the game to deny them an escape from the IRL suffering the fash were enacting by the state towards queer people.
