    Hey, does anyone else remember the 2017 Equifax breach? No? Just me?

    Edit: oh, right - Equifax still gets to continue business!

      TBD, they did offer $25 in a class action settlement, which probably equates to the value of permanent PII data visibility on the Internet. /S

      Oh i remember.

      Not only do they get to continue business, they never received any sort of punishment whatsoever. Not even a fine.

        Not only that, the service they generously offered to help those affected for free in lieu of fines is a data harvesting goldmine.

        You’re literally giving the company that lost control of its data, more data to use for marketing and profit.
