Gundam Epyon (Sturm und Drang unit), with decals and topcoat applied. What I really wanted to do was to have the Epyon hold it straight up with both hands, like the He-Man pose, but alas the wrist articulation doesn’t support that pose.

Fun fact: the tip of the tail is actually in one of the holes in the base plate, acting as a brace to keep the model from tipping backwards.

Man, that’s a lot of decals!

I always find it an interesting choice when the weapon + effect is too heavy for the joints.

The kit actually comes with most of an Action Base 4 (just with 1 hex plate instead of 3) specifically for supporting the blade, but I wanted to minimize the horizontal space taken up. Fortunately, the wires act as a counterbalance when the blade is upright, so the only thing to worry about is the arm slipping off the shoulder joint entirely from the weight, but thankfully I seem to have angled the upper arm enough for that to not be an issue so far.
