The APRS SMSGTE service was supposed to have gone down a month or two ago, but it has been working for me the entire time, at least when I message myself or my wife. I’ve chatted with others on others forums and other people have said it’s not working for them.
Just curious, is it working for anyone else?

I’ve looked at the raw data on SMSGTE and see some folks just messaging away. Others, self included, cannot register or send texts. Weird how it’s being selective.
Hope they can sort out the legal stuff and restore the service.
It was down a couple of months ago for me. Recently started working again.
Same for me. I asked on Mastodon and people were saying it doesn’t work for them anymore. Very strange.

These new regulations have messed up a lot of SMS stuff, but I understand the need to do something with all the spam people get. Hopefully they get the support they need to re-start smsgte.
