Scientists say to brace for more extreme weather and probably a record-warm 2023 amid unprecedented temperatures.

Y’all should also look into the possible effects on the polar vortex.
If you don’t know what a polar vortex is: Imagine a giant round bubble of cool air sitting on the top of the planet. This is weather that occurs in a higher atmosphere. Normally it doesn’t effect our weather too much, but it has been warbling much more intensely recently. When the polar vortex weakens, it warblers and changes from being a bubble shape into being a big, wavy shape. This pulls cold Arctic air much further south than it normally goes. When it changes the weather, it is usually very noticeable.
Think about all of the nasty weather that happens when there is a sudden change of temperature. These larger influxes in the vortex will continue to bring severe weather like ice storms, hail storms, tornados, derechos, hurricaines, etc.
Scary stuff. How can you accurately predict something that you have almost no relevant data on? I mean, nature isn’t exactly making it easy on us. Things are already becoming much more difficult to predict.
