That looks like stone rather than raw concrete (“béton brut” in French, from which Brutalism gets its name). I’d say it’s not really Brutalist, but a form of modernism or even stripped-down neo-classicism.
The only brutalist work I’ve seen that actually looks good
Brutalism gets a bad rap. If done by a talented architect, it can look really good. But too often the architect is just some Soviet guy doing a job.
This isn’t brutalism at all. It’s more utilitarian than anything. A metro like DC is a great example of brutalism.
The walls are beautiful, and the floor’s not bad either. But I think the cream paint definitely stops it from being brutalism.
Ahhh, the beauty of the Renaissance was nothing compared to this. /s
