Thoughts including Einstein’s Why Socialism, and MLK’s anticapitalism:

“I imagine you already know that I am much more socialistic in my economic theory than capitalistic… [Capitalism] started out with a noble and high motive… but like most human systems it fell victim to the very thing it was revolting against. So today capitalism has out-lived its usefulness.”

Yes, please put those busts next to the Milton Friedman bust, thanks!

you’re putting ten times more thought into this than he has. Einstein is a cool super genius and MLK is a cool civil rights leader that’s why they are there literal 12 year old logic. what do you think are the political contribution of Tupac or the shah lmao.

Yeah each of these depictions is a caricature, a token Stoic Smart Contemplative Guy who uses Rationality and Facts to discover order in the universe underneath the chaos. The actuality of each person, such as their politics, is an inconvenient distraction.

And LMAO at Aristotle and Marcus Aurelius marble busts. Goes to show the sheer dissonance of this person’s ideology.

If I surround myself with totems of all the smart guys I will absorb their smart. Aristotle Plato and Marcus Aurelius are objectively the two smartest guys in Rome, which was the smartest place until woke.
