Time to see if I will have to eat my own words when I said that this guys videos feel much shorter than Hbomberguy videos of half the length.

Disregarding the debate over if a section or piece of information is absolutely necessary for the pure function of the video, this is actually still really well balanced and paced between the chronological progression of content, overarching systems and designs, individual factions and worlds, development critique, and side anechdotes.

However long the video absolutely needs to be, this is very watchable, I am not eating my words.

A little bit too early to be doing a retrospective imo. I feel like we should at least wait until the game’s lifecycle is complete (all DLC released, mods exist) before making one of those. Yes, I understand it’s just view-baiting, but I will still be mad.

Probably, though the guy doesnt care about mods in the slightest beyond bugfixes(which Starfield doesnt need), I think he was just so disappointed in the fundamental everything about Starfield that he doesnt think any DLCs will have a significant impact on the game experience.

Or he’ll just do individual videos about the DLCs, easy money.

Edit: Just hit the part of the video where he near verbatim says the second part lol, cant blame him.

Also he does care about mods but just doesnt include them in retrospectives, to clarify, since they are not an actual Bethesda provided part of the experience, but he does have a significant section about how both Bethesda and Bethesda-game influencers are treating modders like a herd of cattle that will always be there to provide mods to make the games actually good no matter what.
