(I don’t count more cautious, callous, etc. as “stronger”. Nor stuff like chemotherapy: that’s a dip even lower and then maybe back to regular healthy strength.)
Suffering does not build character
On a similar note:
What doesn’t kill you, almost killed you. Wtf why are you trying to make this a good thing?
