It is literally illegal for Americans to stay in “government affiliated” hotels which doesn’t exactly leave much choice when 600 individuals arrive at the same time.

Yeah except all the five star hotels in Cuba are on the banned list. There’s a reason the multimillionaire isn’t telling you what hotel he stayed at.

Impressive, you googled a listicle. In which is it never stated that any of these hotels are kept powered 24/7 with wifi available, now that the embargo is in place. Or that any of them are the five star resorts Hasan said he was forced to stay at. I wonder why he isn’t naming the hotel?

… He’s not there anymore. He wants to clear this up now, he can. Without compromising whatever expectation of privacy he has as a fucking rich celebrity.

If he doesn’t, maybe he just didn’t stay at a gusano hotel and doesn’t want to literally incriminate himself? Like, i get the guy is a rich himbo, but he’s not machiavelli

I don’t disagree with that. He’s probably both trying not to incriminate himself and he wanted constant wifi and electricity while there. Thing is without more information it’s impossible to know for sure.

It is literally a bad look for him to stay in bougie hotels in Cuba.

Excuse it however you feel you need to. Hassan staying in exclusive hotels in Cuba is bad optics.
