Wonder what happens to the Republicans once Trump kicks the bucket. Class solidarity will hold the party together I imagine, but people like MTG and Walsh here are pushing back things like Epstein and now this.
Class solidarity will hold the party itself together, but their lower-middle class (hate the term, but it’s fine for this purpose) will not stick with them without Trump.
Look at what/how the party has been doing outside of presidential elections. They’re hanging on just fine by entrenching minority rule.
They’ve figured out that mask-off fascism brings them plenty of votes, so they’ll pivot to that as a permanent strategy. Meanwhile they control 27 governorships and 28 state legislatures.
