        the benefits the average worker was given blew me away when i first read about them. retirement at 55 for heavy labor jobs 60 for everyone else, more vacation time then soc dem governments. i guess some people got complacent and then came that lust for shiny new things instead of appreciating how much of your life is yours

          Amazing how they willingly destroyed their countries to live like the US and American workers haven’t come close to the amount of damage they do while living in much worse conditions.

            i know gorby wooed many with promises of Nordic social democracy (keep your benefits AND get access to shiny hyper consumerism!) and it seems a general breakdown in Marxist education allowed people to actually think that was possible.
