    Does any state have enough electricians (or plumbers)? Demand will increase, prices will rise, more people hopefully will become electricians…

      Hopefully, but it still takes a while to become an experienced electrician. It may not be prudent to wait until the free market takes care of that, IMO. We need incentives for young people to go into trades now.

    If there’s a shortage then pay will increase. When pay increases more people will become electricians. This is a problem that solves itself.

      It takes 4 years to become an electrician in CO, it’s not like you can just go from being a restaurant server to an electrician if wages increase. So yes, we need incentives for people to go into those schools NOW, so that we have enough electricians in 4 years.
