I mean… He very much describes the monster in pretty much all the stories I’ve read. But like most horror, there is a lot of tension built up before this happens.
It would have been funnier to point out that he takes 37 chapters building the tension around the idea that the monster is indescribable; then goes on to describe it in great detail.
