Yes I have eaten raspberries, directly from the plant even, but I’ve been using computers daily and professionally for over 40 years and raspberries less than a month per year and most years not.
My fediverse feed is set to ALL, so I get exposure to a growing variety of communities and posts, which sometimes introduces me to new and interesting ideas and perspectives.
If I feel inspired by a post I’ll decide if I want to share my thoughts as a way to both contribute and experience a feel for how that community might operate.
Over the decades that I’ve been online this has made me many new friends and introduced me to a range of interests that I might otherwise not have encountered.
Just because I commented about computers today, doesn’t mean that next time I might ask about my passion fruit vine.
In this case, it seems that my contribution has hit a raw nerve for some reason, even though it was intended as humour for something that tickled my funny bone at the time.
It will likely mean that I’ll think twice before contributing in the future and if my next experience is similarly negative, I’ll likely block the community from my feed.

So … yes, I thought of a computer first.
Why did you feel the need to comment about it though?

People have a lot of overlap in interests.
