This chapter just kept escalating the weird. I loved it. These two officers fit right in with this series.

Yes! I really loved these two! More of them please.
Alright, now I really want to know how Lumir got that body.
Hebizono is, hands-down, my favorite character in this series. So, a whole chapter focused on her is a treat.
I have never had bourbon curry before, but now I feel like I need it.
I can’t remember the last time I saw menstruation referenced in a manga. This series continues to be a good time.
Just one more episode to go!
I just caught up and this show has been an absolute gem.
Her whole journey I was preparing myself for the worst. Then, just when I am finally feeling ok, she hits me with that line. For an episode that had remarkably few spoken lines of dialog, that was an effective one.
So, as I mentioned in my comment in the anime discussion thread this week, I have been doing lots of traveling the past few weeks with very limited internet access. I am tentatively back home this week, so I have quite a bit of catching up to do. I’ll do my best to pick up my reading again, but in the meantime I just want to give a huge shoutout to all of you that have continued discussions in my absence!
So, the past couple of weeks have been a bit crazy for me. You may have noticed my posting activity has been way down compared to normal. I have had a series of trips over the past couple of weeks that has kept me on the road most days. Some for work, some for personal reasons, and only some of them were planned. So, I haven’t really had the energy to do too much in the way of watching subbed media, and for most of my time traveling, my internet connection was extremely spotty at best.
So, I haven’t watched too much anime in the past 2 weeks or so. One thing I was able to watch (after I listened to a podcast about it on my travels), was Project A-Ko. It was a nice and compact standard definition, so I could still watch it on a crappy mobile connection out in the sticks.
Overall, I enjoyed it, but it wasn’t one of my favorites. The thing that I liked the most about it is just how much all of the main characters completely ignored the plot. It made for a good amount of humor that there are metaphorical giant flashing signs all around them that this thing is important, and just none of them care or even acknowledge it. They are all too wound up in their own little thing and end up influencing the world around them only coincidentally.
I really, really wish that mods were empowered to just toggle that themselves.
That’s illegal!
This one has been slow but steady. I feel like it would be all too easy to get sidetracked with all the side characters and progress grinds to a halt. This is what eventually killed my interest in Komi-san for example. But this series has tread that line pretty carefully.
A tale as old as time…the cat will enjoy the box that the toy came in more than the toy itself. My cats took weeks to actually use their beds.
These two are perfectly in sync it seems. Great chapter.
I am going to defer to @Endmaker@ani.social’s judgement that this is a spoiler and not use it. I am a couple episodes behind at this point, so I can’t really say myself. :)
Feel free to let me know if you change it out or use a new image.

I knew where the joke was leading to, but seeing her realization that she poured feelings of love into the ramen was great.
