long pressing on the Bluetooth icon has always opened the Bluetooth menu. prior to Android 14, tapping on the Bluetooth icon would turn it on and off instead of opening the list of devices pop-up like it does now, which is annoying as shit, but that started with Android 14

I think it’s got something to do with dopamine, but I really couldn’t tell you anything beyond that.

I have an alarm that goes off an hour before I need to get up to take my stimulants. I find modafinil increases my dopamine levels. helps me focus, reduces drowsiness. I’ve used it for 24+ hour drives as well, and if i use it to stay awake that long on purpose, i am definitely wired.

I technically have a diagnosis of “sleep work shift disorder”, which is one of the only things that’s approved for, and there’s no test for it other than, “are you working when you’d rather be sleeping? and are you sleeping when you’d rather be awake? okay you have it.” I don’t like Adderall or Ritalin or Strattera

I definitely can’t get high on it, they only made it controlled because college students were trading around like you said, but honestly you could make this stuff available over the counter, you can already get ephedrine that way and I’d say that’s considerably more dangerous

I had tried getting my way through that seven times before making this post before finally realizing that it wasn’t actually telling me how to make a backup up top, it was only telling me how to transfer phones. there is no indication that all the instructions up top were not about how to make a backup, I just kept following them and wondering, when does my backup show up? because the sub-header says that it’s instructions on how to “Use a backup to move your local Signal data to a new Android phone”, implying that at some point along the way here, we will be making a backup, and then I can just not follow any more steps and I have my backup. so I tried searching for the word backup, and it had 67 hits on the page, of which it appears 18 are used correctly. every other time it’s used, the word “transfer” should be in its place.
