What even are these? I’m not American, we don’t torture (or have) crackheads here. I mean we do have bums, but hard drugs are too expensive and hard to find for then I think. Booze is easy.
Anyway, in case anyone here is thinking of their local community’s wellbeing, idk what it’s like in the US with tariffs and all, but I know that in general it’s like 30 bucks off Aliexpress to get a cordless angle grinder that works with Makita batteries. Maybe 50 with a battery and charger included. Yes, they work.
I’m a grown-ass man and love Bluey. The episode Baby Race (available on YouTube) actually meant a lot for me when my toddler was being… Bluey from that episode.
I’ll tell you that for free > pretty much any other quote, I’ll tell you that for free.
The comparison is a joke because one of these shows was hailed as one of the best shows in at least recent memory if not ever and the other is a kids cartoon and those aren’t usually very high quality even though exceptions do exist. Bluey is an exception.

Does that archive site work for everyone else? For me it just reloads to a new captcha after I complete the captcha.

Man I remember when they made some of the best phones. Granted this was like a decade, decade and a half ago. My first Android phone was an Xperia that was still Sony Ericsson rather than Sony, and the only really noticeable things it added to AOSP were the launcher (not nearly as bad as TouchWiz at the time) and the display and sound were pretty good for a midrange phone made in the very early 2010s.

It’s been documented to have been in use in English in the 16th century
I think it’s just so old that it’s more or less ubiquitous

Ah, I suppose. My benchmark here is Apple which did it long before Huawei which is why it’s so perplexing to me that it took this long for the Android world to catch up. Apple’s not perfect, but basically everyone lagged behind them in this. The 2014 iPhone 6 got 4 years of updates, the 2015 6s got 7 and subsequent phones seem to be getting 5-7 depending on Tim Cook’s mood (they do claim hardware incompatibility when they sunset an older model, but who the hell really knows)
Looking at the P50 which I believe is the flagship for Huawei (excluding the Mate which is just larger) in 2021, that still only got 2.

And RAM is meaningless without a processor to use it. So I’m saying this MacBook Neo is probably kinda shit for its price, but the Stream is for sure not any good.
For the price of the MacBook Neo, the best device to get would actually be a used laptop. Either an Apple Silicon Macbook Air if you can find one with 16 GB, or some kind of a Thinkpad if you want to have more freedom.
Cheap laptops tend to suck, but used laptops in the same price range can be very good.

Indeed we do not. Whether you have a monthly salary (we don’t really do annual salaries, just a cultural difference I guess) or an hourly wage in your contract, you’re entitled to overtime (at 1.5x on non-holiday non-night times - rate can get even higher for holidays and particularly holiday nights, and if you’re salaried, it’s just calculated off your average hourly rate for the month before the overtime) and on-call fees. When I first learned this was not the case in the US, it was actually shocking to me. Holidays are double pay even if it’s not overtime.

I wonder if the reboot will be good. It’s got most of the old team back, including Bill Lawrence who has since created several great shows. Seems to be the kinda showrunner that finds good people and tries to give them new roles when possible too. These kinds of people create some of the best shows IMO.
Aaand as I was writing this I went on IMDb and saw that the first 3 episodes are out and reviews are great. Now I can’t decide if I want to rewatch the original series first, or go straight to the new one

It’s a slow burn and doesn’t get any faster.
Same goes for the main character’s character development. It’s there, but it’s quite subtle.

Legally mandated where I come from. If you aren’t being paid, they aren’t actually allowed to make you come in on a day off.
That Celeron ain’t got nothing on any phone processor Apple’s made in at least the last half decade lol
I’m not sure the Macbook Neo will make sense, but I know for sure that docked tablet doesn’t. They’re also ass to repair, performance doesn’t exist and the screen belongs in 2008.

They also did 1-2 for a long time.

Don’t think it’s a false flag, he’s personally pissed at them and they’re losing their juicy contract to ClosedAI.
Doesn’t change the fact that they’re an American corporation and will absolutely snitch on you though.

Well it’s the pilot so I watched it every time I rewatched the show.
What podcast is that? I might be intrested in a new podcast, my current ones only get weekly updates and I only have 2
Same thing kinda. Other people have to pay it back so they have to work for it
Best I can do is Strava with a one-time purchase instead of a subscription
Okay if all you want is the gps tracking and simple metrics like pace, I could probably knock that out in an afternoon and put it up for free. But IIRC, Strava does a lot more than that. I haven’t used it in ages though so not too sure.
