Also I feel at least saying that something is 30minutes away by car makes more sense than 50km. Mainly because it all depends on the route. 2 places could be the same distance away but take wildly different times to get to just because you can rake the motorway to place A but have to take the backroads to place B.

It’s also 45 minutes away by train but the train station is in a neighbouring town. Or 50min by bus (direct route) or 1h30min by bus (not direct route)

Well the thing is there are more than 1 of them. Would it not be proportional to stab them if you get ganged on by 4 to 5 of them?

Well bending their minds is not the issue whan you need them. The issue is when you don’t need them.

They make a mess and you have to make sure they are fed or they will destroy your lab. Constantly controling them gets exhausting. And don’t talk about you proprietary mind control stones. They never work as advertised and just lose connection so you have to restart the whole mind controll process on some rats.

Just more hassle than it’s worth honestly.

If you cannot add some other stuff like simple sugar or quartz energised coal to improve the taste you just don’t deserve to brew.

I also mostly distill my potions and then powderise them and compress into capsules. Take them with water. Improves shelf life and storability.

I guess owl cats can also go. If you cannot make a 3d area of effect spell to just nuke any rodents especially the flying rats you are a subpar wizard.

Eye of newt can go. Most recipes can use an eye of frog to pretty much the same effect. And they are also a lot cheaper.
