I assume most people who care about this already have a browser extension that redirects YouTube links to Invidious links, like LibRedirect.
They mean as part of a streaming subscription.
All I know is that webdl versions of it have been available to torrent for like a month
Personally, I’d hold out for the 4K Blu-ray remux sometime in August.
Netflix hates theaters because it’s a threat to their business model - it’s a way people can watch movies without subscribing to their catalogue.
I don’t have a source for this, but I’m pretty sure they only released Wake Up Dead Man in theaters so they could quality for awards.
So this means Netflix has been lying when they were trying to acquire Warner Bros. - they said they would “respect the theatrical window”.
It’s all good.
Are you crossposting from r/movies? It’s fine if you do, most of us regular contributors do it to an extent. But we don’t want to depend on Reddit too much for content, as that would kinda defeat the purpose of this community. Next time, try posting directly from the source trades, like Variety, Deadline, The Hollywood Reporter, and The Wrap. These are all considered reliable sources.
As for posters, I usually go with IMP Awards, or you can also try checking IMDb to see if they have updated posters. Trailers should be as simple as copy-pasting the YouTube URL.
Again, if you want to include the plot synopsis of a movie in the post, that’s fine. Just make sure to put in in the post body or a separate comment, as there is a character limit on Lemmy.

Important to note that this is the Fandango/Amazon Prime exclusive poster - it will be screened early for Prime members.
Just wanted to point out that “The Mandalorian and Grogu”, the first new Star Wars movie in seven years, what is supposed to be the franchise’s big triumphant return to theaters, is currently getting cucked at the box office by a movie based on a 4chan meme.
Really goes to show how badly Disney screwed up the brand.
