I think more warning signs could help here. This is another video of a crash at that same spot, but the driver goes off the side of the mountain instead (and survives): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S5NWcdq4Wf4
Watch from about 1:15. The combination of the dark tunnel opening up to sudden bright sunlight is also a big factor. Also, at the speed that Zampella’s Ferrari was going, fatality was inevitable either way.

Incredible how much chaos one Mossad agent can cause even after his death.

The other side of that road is a steep mountainside. You’re not supposed to be going this speed on a winding mountain road. Are they supposed to build racetrack compliant buffer zones here for the safety of random millionaires who insist on showing off their latest $400k toys?

His landscapes are gorgeous. I find it interesting that he painted them alongside the decorative ornate figure drawings that he is famous for. He didn’t isolate this style to a certain period in his career but did it throughout.

Damn, you’re hard to please if you thought Andor S2 was only “decent”.

He was like, we have to take Germany back for Germans. And I feel like we should do that in America. We should take America back for our native population.
Let’s start the self-deportations with you, Andrew, “20-year-old white Christian landscaper”.

based and sloppilled

As already mentioned he was the founding member of Minor Threat (legends of the 80s hardcore scene) and Fugazi (seminal post-punk), but his uncompromising ethos was what truly made him punk. He was the founder of Dischord Records, a fiercely DIY label that set hard price limits (about half the industry average for CDs and vinyl) and refused corporate distribution channels. Now a lot of indie labels also follow this practice, but what made Dischord so unique was the massive amounts of money thrown at them from major labels during the height of the 90s alternative rock boom. Fugazi turned down a $10 million deal with Atlantic to retain their independence when every label was frothing at the mouth to sign them. They refused to work with Ticketmaster and other commercial outlets despite their growing popularity. All of their shows remained $5 and all-ages for as long as it could be sustainable.

Ah, gotcha. I was on one of the cheaper plans and everything below it has insanely high deductibles.

Compare that performative poser dickhead to the actual Punkest guy on Earth:

Why can’t you downgrade?

English is my first language and I still mess up “pluralism” from time to time.

I don’t know how that cropping made it past the editor. It’s a huge violation of every photo composition rule, and while you can break it for artistic purposes, you certainly don’t cut off one of the recipients of your magazine’s most important annual bullshit award.

We grew up in a world before AI so we have a frame of reference to compare it to. Just think about the people born into this slopfilled landscape where the content their young minds absorb will overwhelmingly be AI generated. It will be the normalized default for them. There is going to be a much sharper generational divide than the internet savvy millennial vs tech illiterate boomer that we saw in the early 00s.

lol just calling him a “UFC fighter” is underselling his notoriety. He is also a holocaust denying flat-earther. Every time he butts heads with MAGA it is because he is far to the right of them. Horseshoe theory redeems him on this one issue here.
The thawing arctic is going to disrupt the entire world order by creating all new shipping routes and zones of conflict. There is also the rich irony of an administration that denies climate change trying to strategize around its direct consequence.
