Helldivers 2, fingers crossed it runs decent
I bought Dredge and Nine Sols!
Not enough college financial aid left for me to be able to, otherwise I’d have to look at my wishlist and see what’s available for a good price.
none, can’t afford anything.
It’s it just me, or do these sales get worse every year?
Fortunately, price info is actually tracked! If you use the SteamDB browser extension you can see the historical low price right on a game’s product page on Steam.
For example, Terraria is on sale for it’s 2 year low price of $4.99, but the lowest it’s ever been is $1.99 (a little over ten years ago).
Oooo nice, I did not know about that, thank you!
In this economy?
Obviously something to get my mind off this economy.
- Gris
- Balatro
- mirror’s Edge
- Horizon Forbidden West (saving this one for desktop)
E: refunded Mirror’s Edge, it was running at like 5 FPS on low settings.

In the future try checking ProtonDB before buying/refunding. For Mirror’s Edge in particular, it seems all you have to do is disable
PhysX
.ProtonDB is an amazing tool, everyone should check it out!
Were there any physx settings turned on when running Mirror’s Edge? It can bring a 5090 to it’s knees due to removal of 32bit physx support. Great recent gamer’s nexus video on it. Anyway, physx running on the CPU with Mirror’s Edge kills fps
Yes. What do I do about that?
Basically only option right now is to turn off anything physx in older games like mirrors edge. Should solve the fps issue
Gris is great. Small, but beautiful.
If anyone can afford it, I recommend the Neva + Gris bundle. Neva is even better, IMO.

Unfortunately Gog can get off their ass and make a Linux library launcher/updater.
Meanwhile Valve maintains my library, uses my is OS of choice in a flagship product, and improves my gaming experience.
Steam manages all my saves and shares my library with my family.
What has gog done again? DRM free? Not so useful if I can’t play it all. Yes I could use a third party launcher but at that point why bother.
I would like to support Gog I have an account thier. But they don’t want to support me.
So Steam it is.
Indeed. I exclusively used gog for many years and have since given up. Steam is so much better and actually makes Linux a platform to play on.
If you don’t like it, why bother to comment on it?
I’ve been eyeing Signals, Children of the Sun, Jusant, and Weird West for some time now. Maybe Floppy Knights and FAR Changing Tides too
Jusant is cool. Deck runs kinda loud but the gameplay is very enjoyable on controller.
They gave away Weird West on Epic a while ago. I checked it on Game Pass and had to quit it. The atmosphere is very good and overall looks interesting but the controls were awful for me to get used to. If you are going to get it I recommend checking it before the return window expires, just in case.
Thanks for the heads up! I’m a fan of the people behind it and follow the development closely so I’m kind of biased and know what I’m getting into haha
I told myself not to buy any games until KCD2 is out on GOG. But I am tempted
Probably Zomboid, been eyeing it for a while. And maybe Heavy Rain, at €2 it’s very tempting.
I got Warplanes Air Corp and also Battle over the Pacific. And Dragon Age Veilguard.
However, lol, the servers must be a little overloaded, it’s downloading at dozens of megabits and, running a speed test at the same time gave me over 700 so yeah. It’ll take some patience XD
Yakuza Kiwami 2 and Dead Cells already bought.
I bought Station to Station, a nice peaceful train simulation game.
Aestik it’s been on my wishlist for awhile and I don’t see a reason not to pick it up at the current sale price.
