Its not necesssarily cringe, but I started the “I never asked for this” meme from Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Nobody will believe me, but I was on 4chan playing the leaked(?) demo build of the game and recorded that section. It lead to dozens of spinoffs in the thread of people posting funny stuff and posting the clip. The most watched youtube video of it took my clip with the same timeframe, same artifacting, and same motion at the very end and just reuploaded it under a better title then got 800k views or whatever it has now. But I know.
