This is obviously ass shit, because CEOs always get these super cushy severance packages.

In the most generous reading of this, it sounds like he’s saying the layoffs are temporary and those effected should just do gig work to bridge the gap. This is obviously ass shit, because CEOs always get these super cushy severance packages.
