It’s a troll with a spam bot moving from instance to instance with open signups
Any theories about why someone would wanna do that kind of spam? Are they trying to discourage open sign ups?
They got upset at being banned/moderated somewhere

Not sure that they’re targeting any instances in particular, I’ve seen it on lemmy.world as well. I just report what I see and block.
In addition, the posts that it’s targeting seem completely randomized.
I noticed this account. There were half a dozen deleted comments on a post from it. I checked and their entire post history was deleted.
Strange that anyone feels so strongly about anything that they would go this far with their efforts to troll people.

Said spammer made an account on lemmy.ca too and posted gibberish. I think it’s been dealt with at this point.
