I think the real stall, has been the people furthest left in both of the two parties have been convinced to leave.
“Moderate” Republicans became neoliberals, and when they chased off the commies to third parties, we were left with two right wing parties.

Those people are not numerous enough to matter. They’re mostly internet MLs who spend 16 hours a day yapping on social media so they look like the common consensus.

I’ve made my point about you people supposedly not being numerous enough to matter. A few hundred thousand votes is easily enough to matter if the election is close enough. And you never know how close an election will be before it happens.

It’s amazing how many people don’t even attempt to kick. In 2008 and 2016 a dem primary vote represented 3 other people in the party, and that was higher than a lot of other elections!

The times where the democrats had full power with a good margin were the best/least bad legislative periods the USA has ever had. Yes, yes, they are bad in so many other ways. Yes, just voting for them isn’t going to just fix everything.
