The Stewards have issued formal warnings to the Team Principals of both Mercedes and Ferrari regarding their language in the FIA Press Conference on 16 November 2023.
What did they say?
Toto:
"You’re speaking about a fucking drain cover that’s been undone, that has happened before. That’s nothing. It’s FP1.”
Fred:
“We had a very tough FP1. This will cost us a fortune. We fucked up the session for Carlos. We won’t be part of the FP2 for sure.
What the fuck is “language not consistent with values defended by the FIA” supposed to mean? Are they revealing that there is some kind of rulebook to what people tell the media?
